Can I have a vasectomy at the Vasectomy Cork Clinic if I have a medical card?

If you have a medical card the HSE have limited funding to allow you to have a vasectomy at a recognised Vasectomy clinic. Vasectomy Cork at Owenabue Medical Centre is currently the only clinic providing this service in Cork. Medical card holders are advised to contact us at Vasectomy Cork at 021 4374997 to enquire as to the current waiting time for this procedure. A strict, transparent waiting list is in operation for medical card holders.

If you wish to have a Vasectomy procedure, an appointment must be made for clinical assessment and counselling to ensure the suitability of No-Scalpel vasectomy for you.
